Our Chesham Bed and Breakfast is located in the chilterns and has many interesting places to visit, if you are a tourist then you will easily be able to find plenty of things to do. 

Though Chesham has remained beautiful and has preserved it’s sense of history, it has not remained in stasis. Instead this gorgeous community has grown to serve surrounding areas as a central market and strives provide a positive environment for businesses. In addition Chesham is known for being a “Walkers are Welcome community” and an exceptional starting point to explore the fascinating and relatively untouched Chiltern Hills on foot.

Visitors find no lack of amenities in Chesham and in addition to hosting local specialty shops there are many national retail stores. Rustic charm and history with a friendly attitude are perhaps some of Chesham’s greatest features however; a walk along High Street will reveal many specialty shops, which can tempt almost any shopper. Visitors to Chesham should take time to explore the nooks and crannies off High Street such areas as Lum’s Yard (also known as Darsham Walk) are an exceptional feature of the community at the top of Francis Yard a visitor will find the Old British School established in 1828 and the first free school in the community.

Chesham hosts a market for produce once a month as well as general market twice weekly as well as the gorgeous 36-acre Lowndes Park which features children’s play area. This park hosts many community events including the local carnival, and open air concerts and provides an exceptional view of the town itself.

Chesham is a multifaceted community which takes pride in the natural beauty surrounding it and spares no effort in attempting to preserve not only the history of humans in the area but wildlife and natural assets while maintaining  firm footing in the 20th century.
